Paddle. Explore.  Belong.

The Roaring Fork Kayaking Club’s Kids Camp is more than just a week on the water—it's an invitation to grow confidence, build friendships, and deepen respect for wild places through the power of paddling.

Whether your child is new to kayaking, just starting out, or has been paddling for a while, this beginner-friendly day camp is designed to foster multiple ability levels and nurture a lifelong love of rivers. Guided by experienced instructors, campers will gain essential paddling and river safety skills while exploring local waterways, learning to read moving water, and building trust—in themselves and in each other.

💙 Scholarships & Sliding Scale

We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of kayaking—regardless of financial circumstance. Thanks to the generous support of First Bank, we offer a limited number of need-based scholarships for our Kids Kayak Camps.

If camp tuition is a financial stretch, we invite you to request:

  • A full or partial scholarship, or

  • Use our sliding scale option to contribute what works for your family.

There’s no long application process—we trust families to choose the level of support that feels right.
